Welcome to the MRHS Library
The Evergreen Teen Book Award provides an opportunity for local teens to have a voice in the selection of books aimed at their own age group. The 10 nominees are the culmination of selections made by teachers, public and school librarians and students. These finalists represent titles most appealing to teens. Readers are encouraged to read as many of these 10 titles as possible and make their top selection by April 1, 2020. Voting can be done online, at both public and school libraries or by mail-in ballot. For more information and to vote online go to the Evergreen Teen Book Award website.

A school library is a shared space that ideally facilitates a welcome, inviting space for all who enter; provides access to information without discrimination; nurtures intellectual freedom; enhances and supports globally-minded and rigorous academic programs; encourages reading both for coursework and pleasure; promotes opportunities for students and staff to engage in the sharing of ideas and information; and, encourages the development of an appetite for life-long learning--all requisites for maintaining a democratic society.
