Because of the current COVID-19 quarantine and cancellation of school for the remainder of the year, due dates for books checked out since January 6, 2020 have been extended until June 19, 2020. Textbooks are not due until June 15, 2020. These materials will not be fined until mid-September.
Graduating Seniors: Book and materials return is scheduled for June 10 from 9-11 am and June 11 from 1-4 pm. You can view all fines on the district website by clicking HERE. Once you log in you can view your current fines under "Reports-->Unpaid Fines/Fees". Updates to fine lists will be made during the first 2 weeks of June.
Staff and Non-graduating students: Until more information is available, please plan to hold onto any library or textbook materials until school starts again in September.
Books that were overdue and fined PRIOR to January 2020 have not changed in status. They should be returned or paid for as soon as possible once school recommences in September 2020.
If you have any questions or concerns, please email Ms. Carlson.

A school library is a shared space that ideally facilitates a welcome, inviting space for all who enter; provides access to information without discrimination; nurtures intellectual freedom; enhances and supports globally-minded and rigorous academic programs; encourages reading both for coursework and pleasure; promotes opportunities for students and staff to engage in the sharing of ideas and information; and, encourages the development of an appetite for life-long learning--all requisites for maintaining a democratic society.
