IB- International Baccalaureate Programme
For the International Baccalaureate program at Mount Rainier High School, up to 15 seats per graduating year will be reserved for each of the high school service areas (Highline, Tyee and Evergreen). If more than 15 students apply from each service area, a lottery system will be implemented.
The application window and lottery for the 2019-20 school year is now closed.
During the application window, use our online application portal to complete and submit an application. Create an account using an email address or mobile phone number. After providing basic guardian and student information, save and/or submit your application.
If you cannot finish an application in one sitting, click "Save Progress," and resume the application at any time. For technical questions about how to submit an application, please contact support by email email@example.com or call 855-957-3535.
Space is limited in the IB Program. A lottery process is used when applications exceed capacity.

History in Highline Public Schools
- Mount Rainier High School has offered the IB Diploma Programme since 1987.
- Mount Rainier High School has offered the IB Middle Years Programme since 2017.
