NEW UPDATE 11/19: “High School Fall Out of Season Coaching” has been extended through January 23rd!
WIAA has postponed beginning of High School Athletics to February 1. Current schedule is 3 seven week seasons.
High School Athletics Registration is Now Open
High school athletics registration for WIAA high school fall out-of-season coaching is now open and Virtual Coaching has begun for some sports. We cannot allow in-person coaching yet, however, signing up for a sport will allow Highline Public Schools coaches to communicate with cleared students through Zoom meetings and the Remind App.
Register today to be part of Virtual Coaching, the first stage of a return to sports for high school. Please note: some coaches may not be available for Out of Season Coaching
DECA is still accepting new members! DECA is a club where students can learn business, professional development and communication skills. Meetings are on Fridays at 2:30. Please email Ms. Smith (email@example.com) for Zoom link and Google Classroom Code, and don’t forget to register on Family ID!
Clubs: Some Clubs are meeting with zoom! Students Sign Up to receive club updates and meeting information (do not need parent to sign up for clubs). Register for as many as you are interested in. Not all may be active during Distance Learning. Information will be sent through FamilyID information so you Must Be Registered! The Highline Challenge is a scholarship initiative to encourage students to take 10 steps towards their college goals. Students will complete 10 tasks that will support them in enrolling into the post-secondary program they choose; including 4 year colleges and universities, community and technical colleges, apprenticeships, and trade programs. Students that complete the Highline Challenge will be entered into a scholarship lottery by school. For more details on how to get started look here.
