ELPA21 (English Language Proficiency Assessment) is happening now through June 4. All eligible hybrid students will be administered the test. Students staying in remote learning will be invited to take the test. Be on the lookout for more information.
Families may refuse to have their child participate in ELPA21. If you would like your student to not participate in testing, families need to meet with this student’s principal or a designee to discuss their decision and formally refuse.
Schools are not required to provide special instruction for students who refuse testing while their classmates take the test. However, schools will provide supervision during this time.
